Club Re-Opening Rules and Guidelines

 

Lobby & Clubhouse

Effective 12PM, Friday July 3rd, all Members will be required to wear masks upon entry and inside common areas of the club. The Governor has issued an Executive Order requiring the use of face coverings in public areas. We at Tyler Athletic & Swim Club are committed to keeping our staff and members safe during this time and will be following local and state face covering guidelines.

 

Check out a few of the things we need your help with to keep our re-opening smooth and safe!  We recently launched our Tyler Athletic and Swim Clup App.  If you haven’t downloaded it yet, please do! The App is crucial to our new operation and maintaining proper social distancing while giving all of our members access to the facilities.

*Masks are required in lobby and clubhouse common areas, including but not limited to the TASC facility entrance, passing through the facility, restrooms and hallways.*

 

As you enter the club, you'll notice a few things we've done to ensure proper social distancing. We've marked spaces six feet apart as you check in to the front desk. Please do not gather as a group and hang out in the lobby area. Feel free to go outside and socialize! PLEASE NOTE: To enter the club, you must have a confirmed reservation and check in at the front desk. More on these reservations in the sections below. You must 

 

Additional changes are listed below.

  • Members must bring own towels, mats and water bottles (no towel service available)

  • No racquet rentals at this time

  • Complimentary coffee is still served

  • Please follow taping on floor to adhere to social distancing guidelines

  • No cash transactions

  • No pro shop returns

Self Screening: In an effort to keep all of members safe, please perform a quick self-screening process before entering the club.

SHORTNESS OF BREATH OR DIFFICULTY BREATHING

MUSCLE PAIN

HEADACHE

SORE THROAT

LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL

DIARRHEA 

FEELING FEVERISH OR MEASURED TEMPERATURE GREATER OR EQUAL TO 100.0 DEGREES 

KNOWN CLOSE CONTACT WITH A PERSON WHO IS LAB CONFIRMED TO HAVE COVID-19

If you answered yes to 1 or more of these conditions, please refrain from entering Tyler Athletic and Swim Club for at least 72 hours. 

Tennis

 

Reservations available on the app and by calling front desk (during this time, we will be very busy using all staff to clean so best to us app for reservations).  Please make sure you are calling ahead and not just dropping in. Between all of the departments, we have a capacity requirement and don’t want to have to turn you away if we go over. The limit is 4 people per court. Please download and use the app to book your courts and be sure to include all members that will be playing with you on the court. We will have a $10 no-show fee for missed court bookings. Gym and Fitness Center

 

We’ve done our best to spread out equipment and turn off machines to allow proper social distancing.  We will have paper towels and spray dispenser bottles spread throughout the gym. Each member is asked to disinfect the items they touch.

Group Fitness

 

We will be also offering group fitness with XTC on a limited level. We are only allowing 10 people to reserve a space in each fitness class. Please click here to view our current Group Training schedule. The group fitness room will be locked when there is not a class going on.

Pool

 

We will have limited spots available to reserve for the pool. You can book the pool for 1 hour and 45 minutes.  If you book a pool reservation and no-show to it, we will charge a $10 fee but will waive the fee for 1st time offense. We will be cleaning this area before each reservation time slot and asking that all members that book a slot, please respect the employees when requested to pack up so we have time to sanitize the area. If you want to stay at the pool longer than the reservation, please come into the club and request the extension at the front desk. We are allowing double time slots as availability permits.

Our pool tables now have a number system so you can reserve tables closer to the Kids Club for supervision and safety reasons. The tables are numbered 1-15, clockwise from the entrance as follows:

  • Tables 1-4 are by the entrance

  • 5-9 are by the cabanas

  • 8-12 are by the kiddie pool

  • 13-15 are by the large pool

 

Pool lanes for laps will be open from 7am to close every day and available to be reserved. The only time the pool will be unavailable is during our 15 minute sanitization time.

 

Our splash pad will be closed until further notice. Swim lessons are currently on hold until further notice.

CABANAS

 

Cabanas are now available for rental on the app for $10/hour! Cabana rentals are for 2 hours, followed by a 30 minute closure for our staff to clean the cabana prior to the next rental slot. You can also book double slots for the cabanas within the app. If you book a cabana for back-to-back time slots, you will get the 30-minute sanitation time free since we won't need to clean it in between your slots.

 

As soon as our ice chests arrive, we will also provide an ice chest filled with ice for your use at the cabana.

It is important to note that the cabana rentals are not the same as last year. This is not a party rental, but instead a reservation. Please no guests or non-members at the cabana rentals until we lift our no guest/non-member policy. This policy helps ensure social distancing and helps comply with our facility capacity.

Kids Club

 

Kids Club is back as of May 25th! We will be open from 8am-12pm Monday - Saturday. Time slots will be limited to:

  • 8:15am - 9:15am

  • 9:30am - 10:30am

  • 10:45am - 11:45am

You can only book 1 hour a day (as a start until we open up further) with a maximum of 12 kids per time slot. This means 36 kids will be eligible for Kids Club each day.

 

*We were unable to get this linked into the app for reservation, so please call the club to reserve your time slot for Kids Club 24 hours in advance.*

We will be able to let you know what space is available and when during your call. It is important to remember that Kids Club is one of our most in-demand amenities, so we always recommend getting your Kids Club slot reserved, then planning your club usage around that time.
